ZaeonPlay Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ZaeonPlay, provided by Zaeon Labs ("Zaeon Labs," "we," "us," "our"), available worldwide as a web version and as a desktop/plugin version for use with OBS Studio.

By creating an account, connecting a platform to the web version, or downloading, installing, or using the desktop/plugin version, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ZaeonPlay.


1. The Service

ZaeonPlay provides docks, overlays, and automation for streaming to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, including chat aggregation, alerts, goal bars, donation overlays, and Discord webhook logging, offered as:


  • A web version, which links your platform accounts through our servers.
  • A desktop/plugin version, which runs entirely on your own computer with no data stored on our servers.

ZaeonPlay is offered with zero subscription fees.


2. Eligibility and International Use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use ZaeonPlay. ZaeonPlay is used worldwide; you are responsible for complying with the laws of your own country or region, including consumer protection, data protection, gambling/donation, and tax laws applicable to any donations you receive. You must also comply with the terms of service of any third-party platform you connect (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Discord, and any payment gateway you enable).


3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Zaeon Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the ZaeonPlay web version and/or install and use the desktop/plugin version, for your own streaming activity or that of an organization you are authorized to represent.

You may not:


  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble ZaeonPlay except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or rent ZaeonPlay to third parties without our prior written consent;
  • Use ZaeonPlay to violate the terms of service, community guidelines, or API policies of Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Discord, or any connected payment gateway;
  • Use ZaeonPlay to facilitate fraud, misrepresent donation totals, spoof platform events, or otherwise deceive viewers or platforms;
  • Use ZaeonPlay in any way that infringes the rights of any third party or violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.


4. Your Accounts and Credentials

You are solely responsible for:


  • Obtaining your platform API tokens/credentials in compliance with each platform's developer terms;
  • Keeping your credentials and, for the web version, your ZaeonPlay account, secure;
  • Any activity that occurs through your connected accounts via ZaeonPlay.

Zaeon Labs is not a party to your relationship with Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Discord, or any payment gateway, and is not responsible for suspensions, bans, or account actions taken by those platforms.


5. Third-Party Platforms and Payments

ZaeonPlay's donation alert feature integrates with third-party payment processors (PayPal, Stripe, Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, Streamlabs). ZaeonPlay does not process, hold, or transmit funds itself — it displays alerts based on data those services provide. Any dispute regarding a payment, chargeback, or donor transaction is between you and the relevant payment processor and/or donor, not Zaeon Labs.


6. Intellectual Property

ZaeonPlay, including its code, design, themes, and documentation, is owned by Zaeon Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in ZaeonPlay. All trademarks, logos, and platform names belong to their respective owners; no affiliation with or endorsement by those companies is implied.


7. Updates and Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of ZaeonPlay at any time, including changes required to maintain compatibility with third-party platform APIs, which may change or restrict access without our control. We are not liable for functionality that breaks due to changes made by Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Discord, OBS Studio, or payment providers.


8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ZAEONPLAY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that ZaeonPlay will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts, metrics, or automation will trigger with perfect accuracy or timing during a live broadcast.


9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZAEON LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST REVENUE, LOST DONATIONS, LOST SUBSCRIBERS, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ZAEONPLAY. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Zaeon Labs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of ZaeonPlay, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party platform's terms of service.


11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ZaeonPlay if you violate these Terms. You may stop using ZaeonPlay at any time by disconnecting your account (web version) or uninstalling the application (desktop/plugin version).


12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to arbitration in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh having exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA or UK, this governing law clause does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, which continue to apply alongside this clause.


13. Severability, Force Majeure, and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zaeon Labs regarding ZaeonPlay.


14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ZaeonPlay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
